Caught in a web of poverty and injustice, Liz Rafferty takes employment in a dancehall. Though she loathes being viewed as a pretty piece of meat wrapped in silk for the enjoyment of the West End gentlemen out for a bit of slumming, she can't help but feel her luck is about to change.

Rhys Trevan Morgan, Viscount Talfryn is a vampire with a mission. Another supernatural creature prowls the night leaving a trail of blood and gore in its wake that eventually leads him to London's East End and to the Barbary Coast dancehall. He doesn't need the distraction of coming to the aid of a young woman forced to strip and parade herself on stage for the voyeuristic pleasure of the club's wealthy patrons.

Soon, the momentary distraction becomes a craving Rhys can't resist and he wonders if the fair Lily will be the end of his frightful curse or the vehicle of his destruction.

Kitten's Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I sort of picked it up on a whim. I hadn’t read a really good Paranormal Romance in a really long time. Then I saw vampire, and I was sold. That book was going on my kindle and I was going to take a chance on a new author.

Was I disappointed?

GOD NO! This book was fast paced from the moment the first sentence kicked off. The story flow was perfect. Once I started to read, I didn’t want to stop. I’m sure that I could have. But the author developed all the characters in this story so well, that I was hooked. I wanted to know what was going to happen. It was moved along so fast that I was biting my nails, and eating dinner while I was reading it. There was not a portion of this book that I wanted to jump past. Each word reflected interest at the reader. I honestly cared about the two leads. I did have a moment where I was holding my breath. My heart was pounding in another, and I wanted to throw the book in another scene.

I think that if an author can get you from point A to point B with all those emotions and in only 80 pages, they are doing it right. If you can’t put down and book, and get grumpy when someone makes you, the author is doing something right. I was recently going through a big slump, and then BAM! We have a winner.

I was so used to reading erotica, that I was almost worried that going into Paranormal Romance wouldn’t be enough for me. But good lord, I heated up. The author developed a perfect level of tension, that once the scene started, she had such a great rise of simple wanton intimacy that I was getting warm, and panting for these two. They were for sure totally hot, totally sexy, and I wanted so much more! I do hope the author revisits these characters in the future. She did offer up a storyline where it should continue.

Highly Recommend!
