Blurb: Ellie is horrified to discover that the pharmaceutical company she works for is doing illegal experiments. They have spliced human and animal DNA, creating exotic new species. One male captures her heart and she’ll do anything to save him. Even if he hates her for it.

Fury never knew compassion or love. He has spent his life in a cell, chained and abused by humans. The one woman he allowed himself to trust betrayed him. Now he is free and set on vengeance. He vows to end her life but when she’s finally in his grasp, harming her is the last thing he wants to do to the sexy little human.

Fury can’t resist her—the touch of her hands, her mouth on his skin, her body wrapped around his. He is obsessed with the scent of his woman. Ellie wants Fury—always has. She craves his big, powerful body, but she also wants to heal his desolate heart. Ellie just doesn’t know if Fury can be tamed.

Reader Advisory: This story contains the heartrending aftermath of a rape scene involving a captive male. Another scene involves capture and forced touching by a hurt, vengeful Fury.

Kitten's Review: I have to be honest. When I first stumbled across this book I didn’t want to read it. I saw it recommended with Lora Leigh’s breed series, and a lot of reviews spoke that it was a total copy of the breed series. They are very much wrong, and I find it hard to believe they even read the book. This book is totally unique and the only thing that is ‘similar’ is human and animal DNA being spliced. As far as the rest of the plotline goes, it is unique and in its own class. For a first book in the series I found it very good. The world building is fantastic. I was sucked into the story and was following along each character as if I was part of the story.

It was one of the best books I have read this year (yes I know it’s only January), but besides that fact the sex scenes were super sexy. The only issue I would really have is that the lead male holds back to much sexually. Is too worried about hurting Ellie, I mean human woman are pretty durable, we can take some rough bed play. And the fact that there was light bondage in this book—bring on the yum factor! Ellie liked bondage, give it to her Fury!

I was totally surprised, I was up reading it till 3AM two nights in a row (thank God it was a weekend), and I will be grabbing up book two as soon as I possibly can!

Blurb: Christy Clarkson finds herself at an exclusive charity auction where she's agreed to be one of the participants who will be auctioned off and will share a weekend for two at a resort hotel with the high bidder. There is added intrigue when she learns that members of an elite kink club are participating in the auction.

Years ago, she broke up with Zach Nikas when she found his pictures of bound women. She was naïve about what his bondage interests meant and she ran from the relationship. Ever since she left him she's explored the kink only to discover that it intrigued her, though she never actually participated.

When Zach show up at the auction as a bidder, Christy is exhilarated to see him. No one else stands a chance of winning her over Zach.

Her curiosity about kink is about to become experience.

He's hot and sexy, intelligent and successful, and just happens to have a well-outfitted dungeon. A dungeon where Christy learns what Zach and "play" are all about.

This is a 30,000-word novella + excerpts, sure to light your world on fire.

Kitten's Review: I sort of have a love/hate relationship with this book. It took me far too long to read it and that was for many reasons. I just didn’t know how to connect to anyone in this book. First, you have a woman that stormed out on a man because she found his bondage gear. Only to be faced with him again, after researching in their time apart and suddenly is game on for all things bondage.

I get that.

I honestly do.

I was that woman.

I reached.

I saw,

I wanted.

I was rearing to go!

However, I didn’t just dive in head first. I had a steady progression. I guess that is where the fantasy came in. Which, in all honesty I would have been able to roll with. I was hot for all things that this book had to offer as far as the BDSM lifestyle was concerned. However, the full story did not deliver for me. The conflict was silly and unbelievable. You can accept ultra kinky bondage but you can’t accept he is a BDSM photographer every not and again? That just didn’t make sense to me. I never connected to the leave female which left the book dry for me. If I don’t connect to the female lead I’m left bored, drifting, and just putting myself in her place. Only this woman made silly choices most of the time. Her inner thoughts I found myself eye rolling at times.

Did I love the male lead?

When he was a Dom, yes.

When he was just a man, no.

There were a lot of inconsistencies. For example she had on a ring gag and managed to start talking without any mention of taking off the ring gag or any pain involved with said ring gag coming off. (He had given her some forced oral, made her wear it while almost reaching peak, and then she could bite her lip and talk. Trust me I double checked no mention of said gag coming off.) Then a scene she had a ball gag on and came ‘bite the inside of her lip’. Now, I have a ball gag. I checked if I could bite the insdie of my cheek with a ball gag on and couldn’t. I normally LOVE Jaymie aka Cheyenne McCray and her BDSM style books.

I was just disappointed and sad this one failed me.

Blurb: London, 1897

Caught in a web of poverty and injustice, Liz Rafferty takes employment in a dancehall. Though she loathes being viewed as a pretty piece of meat wrapped in silk for the enjoyment of the West End gentlemen out for a bit of slumming, she can't help but feel her luck is about to change.

Rhys Trevan Morgan, Viscount Talfryn is a vampire with a mission. Another supernatural creature prowls the night leaving a trail of blood and gore in its wake that eventually leads him to London's East End and to the Barbary Coast dancehall. He doesn't need the distraction of coming to the aid of a young woman forced to strip and parade herself on stage for the voyeuristic pleasure of the club's wealthy patrons.

Soon, the momentary distraction becomes a craving Rhys can't resist and he wonders if the fair Lily will be the end of his frightful curse or the vehicle of his destruction.

Kitten's Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I sort of picked it up on a whim. I hadn’t read a really good Paranormal Romance in a really long time. Then I saw vampire, and I was sold. That book was going on my kindle and I was going to take a chance on a new author.

Was I disappointed?

GOD NO! This book was fast paced from the moment the first sentence kicked off. The story flow was perfect. Once I started to read, I didn’t want to stop. I’m sure that I could have. But the author developed all the characters in this story so well, that I was hooked. I wanted to know what was going to happen. It was moved along so fast that I was biting my nails, and eating dinner while I was reading it. There was not a portion of this book that I wanted to jump past. Each word reflected interest at the reader. I honestly cared about the two leads. I did have a moment where I was holding my breath. My heart was pounding in another, and I wanted to throw the book in another scene.

I think that if an author can get you from point A to point B with all those emotions and in only 80 pages, they are doing it right. If you can’t put down and book, and get grumpy when someone makes you, the author is doing something right. I was recently going through a big slump, and then BAM! We have a winner.

I was so used to reading erotica, that I was almost worried that going into Paranormal Romance wouldn’t be enough for me. But good lord, I heated up. The author developed a perfect level of tension, that once the scene started, she had such a great rise of simple wanton intimacy that I was getting warm, and panting for these two. They were for sure totally hot, totally sexy, and I wanted so much more! I do hope the author revisits these characters in the future. She did offer up a storyline where it should continue.

Highly Recommend!

Blurb: Fantasies begin at the threshold of Le Club d'Esclavage

Natalie Buchanan has been working non-stop for six weeks. Determined to enjoy a rare weekend off, she winds up at the mysterious Le Club d'Esclavage.

Natalie had read about the bondage club, and although she'd been mildly curious about submissive pleasures, she never imagined she'd set foot inside. And now that she has, the erotic atmosphere of domination and submission sends her scrambling for the exit.
Before she can escape, she's approached by a leather-hooded, bare-chested man who whispers a deep, sultry, "You are mine..."

Warning: this title contains the following, explicit sex, graphic language, bondage, BDSM, use of sex toys, anal sex.

Kitten's Review: I have to say, that although I really enjoyed the base storyline of this book, I had a series of issues with the BDSM theme that made me sort of lift a brow and almost cringe. I really wanted to like it. I wanted to be able to slap five stars on this book and say YES! This was fantastic. I was left having to be totally honest.

First off, I loved the premise. The guy that always wanted the girl, guy owns BDSM club, guy sees girl come into in BDSM club. So what is any BDSM club owner, that doesn’t really ‘Play’ in the lifestyle to do, but pretend to be a ‘real Dom’ suit up, wear a mask, totally dominate said woman (with no safe word, no contract, just a cover charge and all the booze she can drink), and do really unsafe things to a woman that has never played in BDSM before.

Ok, so I ranted a little.

Erm, maybe I ranted a lot there.

But as someone in the lifestyle, to me there is a very fine line between writing ‘fantasy’ BDSM and writing totally unrealistic and unsafe BDSM. What drives this story is the intense connection this couple has. What ruins this story is the elements that are important to BDSM that most BDSM readers have come to know, enjoy, and it makes reading the material safe for them.

For example “Oh, he gave her a safe word and some control by telling her to use it if it goes too far. She is safe with him.” If you take out the importance it turns a potentially very enjoyable storyline and weakens it and makes it cross a line for some people.

I would have loved this book, raved even, if it just laced in some more realism for me. Because everyone knows that a girls first trip to a Bondage Club she’s not going to dive right in and say “Tie me up, spank me, own me, hump me, and give me no safety net.” But for our reading pleasure something has to move the plot along to create a great bondage scene.

Overall, I give the book 3.5 stars. I loved the idea, I just think it lacked so much that would have been achieved with a bit more research.

Blurb: What Happens When a Wicked Wizard Woos a Wary Witch?
Sequel to Not in Kansas
Dorothy knows her new neighbor is too wicked to be trusted. As a natural witch, she recognizes the Wizard for what he truly is. As a woman, she recognizes him as a threat to her sanity.
Z has tried everything. Pursued her in dreams, bribed her cat, enticed her with peep shows meant to whet her appetite and drive her crazy. And still she resists. What-s a Wizard to do? He came to Earth to have an adventure, not lose his heart to the one witch whose guard he can-t get past.
When he finally gets his hands on her, the power between them is undeniable. But Dorothy-s family secret could make him sorry she surrendered.
Warning: Voyeurism, lurid dreams, raunchy dirty wizard sex in public places.
Kitten's Review: Just when I thought Not in Kansas was good. She had to take the hunky Wizard from the first book. Dump him right smack in the middle of California with a woman named Dorothy. A shy, curvy, and push over female that also happens to be a witch. A very powerful witch that is also the soul mate to said hot ‘Wizard of Oz’. After a fantastic ‘light bondage’ (no ropes, think invisible bondage Wizard of Oz style) the Wizard is summoned back to Oz, and leaves our poor Dorothy with a way into Oz if she should need to come to him.

This story was laced with hot erotic scenes and was even better than Not in Kansas. It added in more elements of the original story, you get a takes of Glinda, some ‘flying monkeys’, and other mystical creatures that all over sexed and aren’t ashamed of it. Let me tell you, if I had known that Oz was the land of sex, I would have hopped on the first Twister and taken my happy butt there a long time ago.

I think this story had more of a pleasing effect on me because of the light bondage and spanking that was in it. This was one of the most pleasing erotic romances I have read in a very long time. The fantasy was great, the storyline was new and fresh, and I wish she would write just ONE MORE in this series so I can sit back and indulge in another trip to the land of Oz.

Blurb: Gliders and Wizards and Sex Droids- Oh My!
Kansas Frayne has everything he needs. Except a life-and love. A freak storm changes all that when it hurls him into the darkness. He wakes up to find he-s been thrust into a world of promiscuous and directionally challenged beings, sensually sentient water and servants created solely to fulfill any imaginable fantasy.
The sexuality he-s long denied is tested to its limits, especially when a darkly erotic wizard issues the ultimate challenge. If Kansas wants to go home, he must fulfill one task. Resist the allure of the unbearably beautiful king.
Sounds easy enough.
Until he gets a look at the golden monarch. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and Kansas quickly realizes this is a challenge he is doomed to fail. Yet he has to try.
Before he loses his heart.
Warning: Gratuitous and barely veiled references to a classic fairytale. Graphic Male/Male scenes. Androgynous pleasure droids. I-d say we-re not in Kansas anymore, but, well-

Kitten's ReviewWhat is better than ruby red slippers, singing ‘Follow the Yellow Brick Road’, and melting a wicked ole’ witch with a bucket of water?

Watching a M/M romance take place in the Land of Oz! Oh yes, you heard me right. In this new spin on The Wizard of Oz tale, a man named Kansas is sucked up in a ‘twister’ and taken to the magical land of Orgy Oz. This would be my second M/M book and I have to say I totally get the appeal in the genre now. It is just hot to read about two Alpha males go at it with one another. Add in one sexy as all get up Wizard and you have a M/M/M scene that is so steamy you are nibbling on your bottom lip and begging for more.

The story had every element of fantasy you can ask for. To top it all off you set it on the backdrop of one of the most famous fantasy tales of all time, and you have a fast paced, sexy, erotic romance that rivals some of the best in the genre.

I loved this story. And not just because it was The Land of Oz orgy style, but it was well written, Land of Oz orgy style. I think anyone that has been looking for a great read, and erotic fantasy about Oz will love this book! The characters were well flushed, the story had no jarring effects, it was easy to follow and left me itching for more by the end.

Thank God there is a sequel… Surrender Dorothy.

Review: I'll Be Mated for Christmas by Rebecca Royce

I'll Be Mated for Christmas
Author: Rebecca Royce
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Publisher: Decedent Publishing
Length: Novella

BlurbBethany Johnson grew up one of the only humans in a pack of werewolves. She didn’t have an easy time and her self-confidence was almost non-existent. Finally, after some serious psychotherapy and the help of weight-loss surgery, she is feeling like the Bethany she has always wanted to be. But now she has to say goodbye to the werewolves in her life. Out with the old and in with the new this year…

Luke Denarius is the new Alpha of the Delta pack. He’s never met Bethany but the second he scents her he knows she is his. No way is she going off to Italy for adventure and hot sex with other men.

With the help of Madame Eve these two will find that a mating is in the works for Christmas.

Kitten's Review:  What can I really say about this story anymore than I loved it! I felt that maybe some of the dialogue might have been silly on the part of the lead male. But I was always so wrapped up into to world building and character development that it was jarring for a moment before I was smiling or wanting to tear up at the sincerity of the lead character. I truly believe that ever good Alpha male has to have a deep sense of compassion to truly be a great Alpha. And Luke is that Alpha male for me. I could feel every inch of Bethany’s pain. For me this wasn’t just a story of a human girl feeling out casted by the fact her whole family was wolves. This was a story about just feeling like the underdog in general. I could relate to the heroine in this story so much that even though this was a novella, I grew to love and want more of these characters. It was a brilliant Christmas read that perfectly broke up the different genres that I read. I would highly recommend this quick paranormal romance to anyone that reads paranormal romance.

It had a great story flow. It has a strong lead female that yes, accepted her ‘mate’ rather quickly. But I truly believe that people need to see past that when reading a novella. The authors have an enormous task in creating a full love story in a small amount of words. Rebecca Royce has done that with I’ll Be Mated for Christmas. After reading this story I instantly looked up more of Rebecca’s books to buy once I get my Amazon gift cards for Christmas! Fantastic job!
